Non-Profit Charity Project - Children Diagnosed with Cancer & Leukemia @ HKL

Kebanyakkan kita 'merungut' wardrobe anak dah penuh, nak buat dgn baju-baju yg dah x muat. Bakul permainan dah penuh etc.

I found a channel di mana kita boleh salurkan barang2 yang mungkin dah kurang penting bagi kita, tapi mungkin sangat diperlukan oleh orang lain. I received an email from Noraiza who's currently doing a charity project, see her email below:

Hi everyone!!! I'm doing a

Malaysian Women's Weekly, Feb Issue 2012

Selepas workshop dengan The Women's Weekly last December, they arranged a photoshoot session for the winners. At first, excited jugak since dah lama tak ber-photoshoot. Tapi disebabkan aktivity on that day itself dah terlewat habis, photoshoot start lambat, towards the end dah hilang mood sebab teringat Amir kat rumah ;p

Before photoshoot, ada sesi dengan stylist from Debenhams, Hadi. Masa ni lah pilih baju apa nak pakai during photoshoot.

Then, makeup time!! I love the makeup -- kecuali lipstick ;p so use to nude color.

And finally .......

Amir is back!!

Hello Ladies,

It's been a loooong time since my last entry in mommy's blog. I was 6 turning 7 months that time. Now, mommy is busy again. Helping her update this blog would be a delightful idea.

My name is Amir Hidayat Syah, in case you've forgotten. I am 17 months old. I really feel like a big boy now. I can make my own decision about something, I can be very clear — loud and clear — about what I do and don't want to do, to eat, to play. Mommy and baba should realize this and stop from being a control freak. I can do most of things on my own.

Mommy always says I'm clingy. Well, I am actually not but it doesn't means what mommy said is not true, of course mommy won't lie, it's just that I'm not. You get it right? I'm not clingy but mommy is not lying. It's just - I think mommy is the only safe person to be with and to show just how upset and frustrated I can get. Certainly baba is another safe person to be with if only mommy is not around. And he definitely the best person to play with. When I see him chasing after me, it makes me scare and I run, but it's fun. When mommy try to chase me, I just come towards her, no need to chase me, I'm coming to you.

There are times mommy thinks I disobey her order, especially in the kitchen. She say, "Please stay away from the gas stove, it's hot!" and I look right at her, reaches out, and touches the gas stove, "hot.. hot" - I say.
You know, this isn't disobedience, this shows that I got her message, so she should not let the defiance become a big deal, mommy should be proud of me - I can understand the message. And I can say hot too.

Once I turned 16 months, I thrive on routine, I remember each step of a particular ritual -

  • To take a bath, take off shirt and pants. Put into the laundry basket. Walk to the bathroom and must take the baby bath tub and bath toys. Fill water, and let me play with water before bathe me. Then, mommy must make bubbles.
  • Before go back to our home from ibu's place, I must salam Wa, Kakak Jana, Kakak Farhana, Ayah, Abang and Ibu. For Abang and Ibu, they got a special treat - A biiiiiiig Hugggg! And wave a bye-bye to everyone.
  • When baba reaches home from work, once I heard door is opening, I will run towards the door and salam baba. There was this one time, instead of salam baba I pointed to his feet. At first, they don't understand. I did it many times then only they realized there's a hole in his sock! And they made a big fuss of it. I was just trying to help, you see..
I can be quite adamant about following rituals, some of which may make no sense to mommy. For instance, when mommy tuck me into bed at night, I may insist to hold a ball together. But, I'm not that very particular like other toddlers, all balls are my favorite - very small ball, medium ball or the biggest Upin Ipin ball. Sometimes mommy asked 'Camane mommy nak tidur ni?? I don't have an answer for her, all I want is to hold a ball. I have no idea if this demand may annoys mommy ;p

I wish I could have written a lot more about me and my family. We went to the Zoo last weekend. I would love to share the pictures however mommy just told me I can't upload any due to storage for photo has exceeded. She will figure out what to do pertaining to this matter and I'll continue playing.

Please don't miss me coz I'll be back!!
